Welcome to the South End Youth Athletic Association (SEYAA), home of PONY baseball in the Greater New Bedford Community. The SEYAA was founded in 1958 with a Bronco baseball program consisting of 6 teams. Since its inception, this baseball league has grown to its current size of over 400 children with 8 Bronco teams (11-12 year olds), 10 Mustang teams (9-10 year olds), and 10 Pinto teams (6, 7 & 8 year olds). Our league is operated with thanks to the dedication of many, many hard-working volunteers, who are appreciated in ways that no words could begin to address. These parents, grandparents, and former players of the SEYAA continue to strive, year after year, to improve our baseball program and make it the best experience every child can have and one that they will look back on with fond memories. Though every child in our league is an "all-star" to us, the SEYAA sponsors several all-star teams comprised of players from within our league's teams. Over the years, these all-star teams have enjoyed a long, proud, and successful history in the PONY baseball program, having qualified for and won several Pony World Series Tournaments.
